Oh Thad.....

Let me tell you all something....Thad and I were treated like royalty tonight!!!! First of all, it was X-UPCer night tonight...except for Sista Vicki who has come back HOME!!! Let me tell you....you think Thad is joking...however....he was offered a job tonight at a MAJOR MEGA-CHURCH!!!! No joke!!!! AND....yes....Jan was IN DA HOUSE and took an immediate liking to Thad. He won't say it, because he has to "look good for his church" but Jan had an eye for him. Yes....she is looking for an assistant...and thought I was Vicki's. She asked if I was MATT!!!! Vicki talked me up and Jan offered me a job....thinking about it...LOL!!!!!!

The regular TBNers were wondering who these two people were...UPCinvaded the house to win back the X-ers....but the X-ers were all over Thad and I!!!!

WOOOO HOOO!!!!!

It was a joy to have Socali and Thaddy on TBN tonight. Thaddy wore his flip flops and KISS t-shirt, J/K! No he was dressed like a UPC preacher headed to an AMF convention, with his family bible in hand
Thaddy cried the whole night, he used Jans hanky. Oh course it had a little mascara on it, thad didn't mind.
It was so cute , thad asked her how she got her hair so pink. She flat out told him she uses easter egg dye.
socali is very excited about the opportunity to work with JAN, this will be a GREAT door for him. You know he will have to follow her around and carry her eye lashes.
He will have to tell you his salary, its a little unique.
He gets a small check but the benefits are HUGE. FREE TV time, she has offered him his own show. So he has agreed togive the air time to the UPC western district (the VM click)
I think this is a great jesture, don't you think?

I saw Vicki on TBN tonight. It was a wonderful broadcast with several ladies discussing their life experiences. Open and candid...I really enjoyed it. So many of these ladies have really been THROUGH IT. I had no idea. I didn't get to hear Vicki's talk earlier in the show about adopting Walker. But I heard her speak about what her mother meant to her - How her mom helped her remember her purpose. To sing and touch people's hearts for Jesus. Dodie Osteen offered to be Vicki's stand-in mom...it was so sweet. I agree that Vicki's mom must have been so proud of her and so pleased that Vicki has given so much to the Kingdom and reached so many lives with her music ministry.

I saw Jan and Paul in a mall here in Nashville a few years ago and I am sad to report that they look the same in person.

I have a funny story about Jan here in Nashville. Apparently Jan loves to shop for antiques. While she was in Nashville she went antique shopping with a guy who is an exUPC singer that at the time was featured heavily on TBN.

As they were in the store the guy noticed that Jan's pants were unzipped. Because she was an older women with a little..er...protruding belly...she did not realize it.

The guy didn't know what to do. While he knew Jan he did not feel he knew her well enough to tell her that her pants were unzipped. He didn't want to create an awkward moment. Eventually she came to a mirror or something like that and realized she was gaping. LOL!!! She turned in horror to her shopping companian and said "Why in the world didn't you tell me my pants were unzipped???!!!!!!!"

I haven't viewed in a while... PTL used to be "live" on night.. and aired again the next day at 2:00pm (PST)

Eeeeewwww!!! I am so sorry I was curious enough to click the link. Couldn't stomach more than 3 minutes of that stuff!!! It ain't gotten any better since grandma had it on at her house when I would visit during my growing up years. Some of those chicks are supposed to be 'pastors'? Horrifying!! Frightening!! They aren't even in obedience to the Word of God, yet they presume to lead others and teach others the things of God? Sad!
