Once he got mixed up with TBN maybe he was, I don't know.
But in the early years, he preached some awesome messages on prayer and revival.

Your right, he was god called and annointed of the Holy Ghost when he started out. But you see, just because he was that great at what God called him to do, others who are out for themselves saw the advantages in his personalities and abilities which would benefit them.

i have seen some good preachers on tbn, however austin is right tbns agenda is around making money.

they exspecially use the sow the finacial seed and get blessed.

And that is very right about the misteaching of the that doctrine. If you watch that program, which I'm not encourging at all, at the end of every message of every guess on there it comes up with the prosperity thing.
I get sick of seeing God's people tangled up in this thing. They are doing without and the TV evangilists are driving big cars and living in big houses.
You know I'm an old guy, I have been around a long time and I have seen the old time power of God in Brush Harbor meetings and I have watched this new age preaching and teachings and I have seen all the fakes on TV and other places.
I remember Paul Crouse when he got started, the Gathers, PTL club, Oral Roberts, from the power of God to the kingdom of Oral Roberts, and the lists goes on.
Jesus said these signs will follow them that believe in Him.
I hear the talk but I want to see the power, and not the phony power of Benny Henn either or this Rev? Popoff, hells waiting for him that is for sure.

yea i remember the leaders of one of these series, Got what i m thinking was a all expense paid vacation to israel, and why they was there. One had this great prophetic message, and they had to be Israel to get it so they can share it.


its a form of robbery playing on weak minded people. they make you feel lik eyour gonna miss out on the biggest blessing if you dont donate.

Don't you wish that the churches in this country was that hungry for the Holy Ghost. Any more the pentecostal churches in the large cities can't even get their members to attend on Sunday night.
They said it's to hard to get up for work the next morning. It didn't seem to be a problem when they were drunks in the world to hang out in the bar all night.
Enjoyed that video, that's the way it was forty years ago and beyond. The latter should be more powerful than the former regin of the power of God's Spirit in the earth. But it takes more than just confession of faith, it takes personal detication on behalf of each believer.
