I do not know who the posse is Bro, But I miss them too. On your behalf

Heb 13
1 Let love of the brethren continue.
2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.

For Rhoni to accuse the so-called "Posse" of being motivated by the spirit of Jezebel is an irony of mammoth proportions.:killinme

Estrogen Brigade
- (noun) Used to denote a group of lady posters, usually including at least one female man of God, for whom life appears to be a series of chemical events. This group of posters tend to reduce every issue to an "us vs. them" battle of the sexes. Also, A group of prolific females who run to the defense of anyone attacked by the Posse. *See also Posse.

Asinine characterization. Typical.

BoredOutOfMyMind 02-22-2007 11:21 PM

Posse - (noun) 1. Describes a loosely defined group of posters. While the term has become a term of endearment to certain factions, it originally was used to describe and articulate the piling on, "riding to the rescue" and personal attacks; tactics used to tear down posters who have taken positions against what the Posse deems correct. The term "conservative posse" was used in passing but its first real use was by timlan2057 here:http://www.newfaithchildforum.com/fo...postcount=1408

2.
A group of scholarly and spiritual yet unassuming and fun-loving posters who are right about most everything and draw fire from carnal retreads as a result. Also, posters who are accused of ganging up on anyone in the Estrogen Brigade. http://www.newfaithchildforum.com/fo...&postcount=110

Well, in case anyone wants to lay claim to such a characterization they can read my response.

Nah. Bitterness does not exist in me. I refuse to allow it. Righteous indignation and bitterness are often confused though.

Some of us remain, friend. I'm just not sure if we remain - like standing Clint Eastwood stoic through the gunslinging - or if remain - like irritating fireants after you thought you exterminated them them all.

Did I just say Clint Eastwood? Perhaps that was a bad illustration.... :drawguns

Ferd,

Weren't you an official part of the posse or something like that? Seems I remember you being ordained as the official chuckwagonmeister or something to that effect.

I'll claim you regardless. You really don't fit in that Estrogen Brigade anyway.

As I said, "asinine characterization. Very typical. (In this case, very, very typical.)

Personally, I never liked using either term and don't miss them.

As an active part of the posse...it is in character for you to say that my comment was "assinine".:drawguns

Typical mischaracterization again. I never said "assinine." Try again. One of these years you might get it right. :heeheehee

Not that kind......just people here and posting!

From the times I was able to be on today, seems there was a lively discussion or two, however, it has come to a halt now.
