Wow. Thank all of you for your prayers-it does work! I've felt them.
I got to work about 7 AM this morning and while it isn't terribly busy, there was a few skids of work waiting to go out. We are finishing up renovations on our expansion and an Electrician was asking if I could move some skids so he could work on a scissor lift to work on the ceiling. I grabbed one of the portable electric pallet jacks to start moving a skid and was backing up when my left foot bumped into a skid, I tried to reverse the truck but it didn't stop in time and my foot went squished! I quickly reversed the truck away, but man was the pain ever intense!! While I was sitting at my computer typing the prayer request, I was feeling cold and clammy from the pain, sweat drenched my hair and forehead. I felt extremely nauseated and mad at myself for making a stupid mistake. I guess the coffee hadn't kicked in yet!:hypercoffee The first aid person at work took me to a clinic, and then to a X-Ray Lab. I am awaiting the results. They suspect a severe sprain, a crack, or a fracture. My foot is swollen and looks slightly disfigured. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! Your prayers made a difference!!! |
Thank God it is not worse!!!

PO have you ever considered a career in Nursing?:hmmm BTW If they throw rice at Asian weddings, does that mean they throw Mashed Potatoes at Caucasian ones??:hypercoffee |
Thank the Lord you are ok...we prayed also.

Or penguins at an Eskimo wedding? Spears at an aborigine wedding? No, I wouldn't want to be in nursing. I think you have to wake up early in the morning. :D |
Well, I am off to work.
Swelling is down and perhaps I can do "light" work! Thanks for the prayers and continued prayers! |
