Vicki Yohe Christmas Album

I give Vicki Yohe such a hard time on here for being our resident sterotypical UPCer "gone charismatic" on TBN that when circumstances call for giving her a "warm fuzzy" I want to do it!

Now that the Holiday season is upon us I want to remind those of you who don't yet have Vicki's Christmas CD that you need to get it. It is one of the finest Christmas CD's you will every buy.

The singing is great, the songs inspired, and the tracks are beautifully done. I guarantee it will be a blessing. It is honestly my favorite Christmas CD in many, many years.

That is it. If you go to Amazon.com and look it up they have audio clips of each song you can listen to.

rgcraig 11-18-2007 08:39 AM

Yes, it is a WONDERFUL addition to your holiday music library!

Very real. It is a beautiful Christmas CD. If you have ever heard Vicki then you know she can "sang"!!! Add to that some beautiful songs and excellent production on the tracks and you have a winner.

Sandra 11-18-2007 02:37 PM

Thanks CC1!!! Wow...this is so nice of you. Thanks everyone for your comments, I love this time of year when I can sing these songs. Vy

I agree, and thankx for reminding me that last year I loaned it to my godbrother and he never returned it.

I'm sure it is lost in that 'Bermuda Triangle' known as the Nevitt home...everything you loan him ends up lost or his!!

That is a great CD...Vicki sings No Room as good, if not better than Sis. W, IMHO...!!

She sings "No Room" the second best it has ever been sung! My wife sang it the best. I think one time Bob Benson (Benson Music) told Lanny Wolfe that when my wife sang that song it made you like the fact that there was "no room"! LOL!!!

Well, hon, I will take your word for it 'cause I've never heard Sis. CC1 sing it.

However, for me, MW jammed on that song, but Vicki's might be my favorite arrangement and rendition.

Blubayou 11-18-2007 05:28 PM

I agree it is a great CD- I put it in the player last year and it was the only Christmas CD I listen to the whole season. Thanks for the reminder.

SoCaliUPC 11-18-2007 06:21 PM

I have to agree....Vicki's Christmas CD is awesome!!! You will not be disappointed. It is one of our CD's that we play during the Christmas season at our home. It is also a personal favorite of mine.

commonsense 11-18-2007 07:19 PM

I agree, it's a great CD.
My Sony stereo stores 50 discs at a time, sort of a mini juke box. I forgot to pack it up for the season one year and listened all year.

Sandra 11-19-2007 07:20 AM

I think I am going to get this CD out and listen to it... lol. I don't listen to my CD's. I don't enjoy listening to myself.

I loaned mine to my daughter last year and she never returned it. I was thinking about it last week that I want my CD! And mine is probably lost in the Bermuda Triangle known as the "Flatt" home.

I had bought a package of 3 CDs and listened to one of the them w/ some regularity this summer ... the other two remained unopened.

I was almost sure the one of the other 2 was a Christmas CD ...

but I realized yesterday ... that it was not so ...

I'll need to buy the Christmas CD .... :bouquet

I love Vicki's Christmas CD. I love the song "What Did You Say Was The Baby's Name."

Sandra 11-19-2007 10:32 AM

Thanks everyone, I will be doing the Christmas Concert Bishop Brazier (EX-PAW)does every year with my band and the Chicago Sympony . From what I hear it is a big deal, the entire concert is aired on FOX.

I am wondering if the stauchest Christmas non-celebrators here also object to ostensive "Christmas music" even if it is Bible (ie nativity) based, yet still targets the Christmas season/market? (Sorry if this already covered, I haven't followed much of the "Up Your Christmas Tree" thread.)

IF so, they are missing out on some really pretty music - not to mention good worship music!

My vote goes to Sandra, too. All the way!

And what makes it even more special is that by sending one to so many of us the former forum, Vicki showed us her true giving heart. What a great warm fuzzy :christmaskiss

I need to dig it out and listen to it. Last year, it was the only cd I listened to at Christmas.

I will say this is, once again, one of the best gospel Christmas projects out there. It is part of my Christmas music collection that I listen to every year at this time. Perfect blend of old and new.
