Seven kids get "it" or "Him" at youth camp
Since it cannot seem to be determined whether the Holy Ghost is an IT or a HIM, I just want to report that seven of our kids (3rd through 6th grades) received it/Him at youth camp this past week!! However you want to phrase it, they were speaking in tongues and praising God. I love it!!

Sherri, That is a good report...takes me back to Buckeye Lake and the song:
I've got it...I've got it. I've Got it...I've got it. There is something about the power of the Holy Ghost... I can't explain it, but...I got it..Yes I got IT! Makes me want to shockamoo... Blessings, Rhoni |
I could'nt read the whole thread on IT.
But, for the record, i have said for years that it denigrates God when we so flippantly refer to having Christ come into our lives as, "Getting IT" I don't care what some of the KJV bible trasnslators wrote.... in our language in our day our vernacular, saying got it, getting it, is just...well it just sounds ignorant. so "other side of the tracks" |
That is wonderful...God is pouring out His Spirit all over the world! Happy for them and for you all. Blessings.

Thanks, everyone! The kids were so cute yesterday--coming into church so excited and full of the joy of the Lord! One of the little boy's mom asked him what was the best part about youth camp, and he said the worship. She was so impressed!

Just found out that two more children received the Holy Ghost last week, so it is nine instead of seven. Praise the Lord!!!

In my limited experience many have received "it/tongues".
