UPCI Resolutions

I know the topic has been HEAVILY discussed regarding the passing of #4...

But I'm wondering, what exactly were resolutions 1, 2 and 3 about? I never read anything else about those.

There is already a discussion on Res 3 I think....See Dan's discussion about it being used to force an evangelist to NOT preach at a non UPC

What about 1 and 2 though?

Praxeas 10-26-2007 11:21 PM

I don't have a clue

Praxeas 10-26-2007 11:22 PM

I think Res 1 was about bestowing the offical title of POPE on to the GS and Res 2 was about Making HQ in Springfield a Vatican like city...lol just kidding.

They were not controversial enough to get a mention here haha

res 3 brings more division to the body than 4 ever could.

UltimateUltraConservative 10-26-2007 11:25 PM

lol okay, but, i'm still wondering......*humming the theme song to jeopardy*

Do you know if there's a place on UPCI's website that explains these things?

I doubt it. When it comes to what the UPCI believes the web page is seriously lacking. I can't even find the AOF on it, but I can find it on pages that are against us.

You can't find position papers or by laws and doctrine is limited to tracts like "Questions and Answers on the Godhead"...you know the DEEP theological stuff one only finds in the upper echelons of Theological Schools

UltimateUltraConservative 10-26-2007 11:30 PM

hmm....I guess I'll have to position the high court of the most high elect of the UPCI and tell them I am on a need-to-know basis, and I need to know.

lol
