Newt Gingrich Calls for Universal Right to Bear Arms at NRA Forum

But members of the influential gun lobby today reserved their greatest enthusiasms not for their presumptive nominee Romney, but for Newt Gingrich, a candidate who perseveres to the wonderment of many and the joy of some.

The director of the NRA’s lobbying branch, Chris Cox, introduced the former Massachusetts governor as a “life member of the NRA,” but Romney signed up for his lifetime membership just six years ago, when he first explored running for president as a Republican.

Too long. What did he say, in a nutshell? Was it about citizens protected ourselves from the government? With guns? Like that would work? Or did he actually make good points?

really worth the watch, gives a history lesson about the american revolution and says bearing arms is not a right given by the constitution but by god to protect against tyranny. guns are not a right just for hunters but a political right to ensure freedom from oppressive government. awesome stuff.

Don't you remember moses?

"OH MY PEOPLE LAY DOWN YOUR ROPES AND TOIL FOR THE PHAROAH NO MORE, RATHER PICK UP THY AK 47's AND SMITE THEM UNTO LIBERATION"

:happydance

I'm pretty sure god will protect us and that if we had full trust in him we really wouldn't need guns. But if we would rather rely on the protection of a gun we will just have to be limited to the means of a gun and most likely die by such.
You worship that which you yield your members to, wether it be guns, politics, or anything else.
