Updating AFF
 

Is there any updates in the works possibly for AFF? I like it here and the discussions in which I've been involved, but the site always strikes me as outdated, plain, and not terribly attractive.

Maybe everyone isn't bothered by the site's look, but I certainly wouldn't mind if it were given a facelift.

Is that something that can be dealt with?

Does anyone else here wish it were newer looking?

if you go to the home page, down on the left hand corner, you can select another view.

I've tinkered with the different themes, but it's only changing the basic colors. And that's a change, of course. I was searching for a more modern, updated look overall.

That's why I asked about updating the website in general, not just changing its colors.

I don't think anybody is really managing the site. We ought to be able to embed tweets, for example, using simple bbcode like [tweet]1234567890[/tweet] like most other forums, or simply pasting the URL ought to automatically embed the thing.

But, it seems this place is pretty much just on autopilot these days.
