Car Trouble

Last night as I was coming home from Home Cell Ministry where we had about 20 in attendance with about 2 new converts & 3 new visitors.
On my way home the Oil Light came on so I stopped into a gas station & it was down a few litres??

I started to put oil in & it was pouring out the bottom!!!

This car is only 3 years old & has 42,000 Kilometers on it.
It is still under warranty, pray that whatever it is it will be covered!!!

My lesson last night??

"An attitude of gratitude!"

Thank you Jesus!!!:happydance

Hopefully you have not had road debris cause a hole in your oil pan.

Do you go off road much?

-what kind of car do you drive again?

Maybe this recent spat of snow might have caused it.
No, I don't go off road.

What I suspect now is this, I had the oil changed at the end of Dec.
They may have put the plug back in loose.

I am hoping in doesn't have big dollar signs in front of it.

For This very reason, I always preferred to take my car to a dealer to be serviced. We don't have WalMart or other QuickLubes to destory engines here, the local quick lube is $38. The dealer cost here is $35, and while there they do any factory documentation for warranty, wash the car, and ......well I am a fan of dealer service on low mileage vehicles.

The last time I went to a WM to have oil serviced at I think $12.58, I wound up with a number 12 greasy boot print on my beige factory mats! (it cost $86 to have it cleaned and WM paid the bill)

Praying for you Ron.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch.....

Our son has wrecked our Taurus = twice! We still owe $6,000 on it! :girlytantrum

Okay, the deer and raccoon weren't his fault, but anyways.... He's going to get it fixed and then we are going to trade it in. The guard rail was his fault! :girlytantrum

I am not a big fan of dealers either.
Dealers make there money on service & parts & used cars so naturally they have an interest in fleecing one who goes to the.

We knew a mechanic at a GM Dealer & he told some horror stories!
