What Songs Really Remind You of Your Childhood Dreams?

Some songs just take us back to our youth and stir those hopeful feelings of youth. What songs were they for you?

I remember that one .... "they both been born again!!"

A lot of the old Spanish coritos [choruses] remind me of the good ol' days.

I hoped I don't get slammed for this; but I used to love listening to Jimmy Swaggarts records on my record player. I used to get so blessed by the Lord as I would play those records. Tears and Holy Ghost comfort would sweep over me almost every time I listened to his music.

Thre are many, many more, but these called me to be free and not let my spirit be bound. I used to run aorund in our back field singing Born Free and Dog and Butterfly has a story behind it. When I heard these after 19 years in the UPC, I absolutely cried.

I wasn't raised in the church and I remember getting that feeling listening to Elvis Presley's "I Believe"!

omigoodness. I have an old LP with Gene Autrys Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer on it, along with Frosty the Snowman and a half a dozen other Christmas songs. Those REALLY remind me of my younger days,
