Thanks to pastors/preachers

I have been blessed in my life with 2 wonderful pastors. Humble and loving men of God. Anointed with the Holy Ghost and fire. Leading and guiding their church members with love and kindness. So I just wanted to say thanks to all the pastors and preachers out there for being good shepherds. And thank God for calling them to be his servants.

I thank God for all the good ones and the bad ones...they have all contirbuted to who I am today and I believe God has a purpose for it all.

Blessings,
Rhoni

Amen...I have had some great men who have spoken into my life and I give them all the honor! I know we are not supposed to name names, but I believe this occasion is an exception.

I give honor to Revs. T.L. Smith and D. Bryan. These two men have pastored me and are both still my Pastor. I receive councel and are covered by both of them.

I agree! Give honor unto whom honor is due. And I believe men called of God are due much honor.

And women, too! Women who obey the Lord and work as He called them deserve honor,as well, IMO.

The sister in Mitchell, Indiana (whose name I can't recall) who put a small white rock in my hand, and prophesied that God would provide the means for my family to travel with me on the evangelistic, and, God provided us a motor home.

Sis. Jesse Wilson, an aged saint of God who witnessed for the Lord every Saturday on the radio in Rainsville, AL for nearly 40 years, who taught me more about my ministry and my calling than I could have ever learned in a Bible College. She taught by example. Her dying words to me were "Make sure the animals have plenty of water". To this day, the last thing I do before dark is put water out for the dog and cat.

Sis Lorene Hastings... a prophetess who stood with her pastor husband through the thick of the battle. When she spoke, "Thus saith the Lord", it certainly was the Lord.

Sis Louise Taylor. No, she didn't preach. She didn't have to. Her life, her godliness, said more about what it means to live the Holiness Life than words could ever say.

I thank God for the preachers who helped me to grow in the Lord. And I'm thankful for the sisters who have helped us all to walk in His footsteps.

Unfortunately, I did not realize which preachers meant the most to me until after they were gone......
The ones who stood by me, even when I didn't want them too! The ones who never judged me, even though it would have been easy for them. THOSE are the ones I wish I could say "thank you" too. Instead I have been too locked into the moment with preachers who are all too eager to judge and claim their "double portion", or have a dream/prophecy to back up every decision they feel like making -usually with money being the real hidden reason.
