Pat Robertson Strikes Again Folks...

Well, I paid close attention to this a year ago. Pat Robertson's prediction of a terrorist attack causing mass killing did not take place. Well its 2008 and we have some new predictions from Patty Boy. Lets see how he does this time.

NORFOLK, Va. — Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson predicted Wednesday that 2008 will be a year of violence worldwide and a recession in the United States, followed by a major stock-market crash by 2010.

Sharing what he believes God has told him about the year ahead is an annual tradition for Robertson.

On Wednesday's "700 Club" broadcast, the founder of the Christian Broadcasting Network predicted that evangelism will increase and more people will seek God as the chaos develops. Robertson said, "We will see the presence of angels and we will see an intensification of miracles around the world."

Last year, Robertson predicted a terrorist act, possibly involving a nuclear weapon, would result in mass killing in the United States. Noting that it hadn't come to pass, Robertson said, "All I can think is that somehow the people of God prayed and God in his mercy spared us."

There must be a scripture for this somewhere. Lets see...

21 And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?’— 22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

(Deut 18:22)

Things may or may not happen.

It seems that the false prophets are proliferating by the LITTER!

But, didn't the Word tell us that it would be so in the end?

I posted elsewhere that it doesn't take a genius to predict a recession... the secular world has been saying it for a long time now.

"...a major stock-market crash by 2010" ?. That gives him almost a full 3-year span for that to happen.

Even the homeless guy on the corner could have predicted a major crash over the next 36 months.

You can bet your busted britches that if we are going to have an anti-christ as soon as he is prophesying, there will be a major world-wide hair curling, blue goose, eyeball bustin' depression by 2010, especially if all those millions are killed next year or even the year after that.

I now know what is meant when the preacher said he went down to the garden of NUTS.
