.........how that, on these newer technology tvs, it is really easy to tell how much makeup these people are wearing? I have really noticed it on the news programs. Good grief! And I am talking about MEN!! These new tvs have such a sharper picture that details are so much easier to see. I wonder if these guys know how sick they look with all this make up on!!

no...i wouldn't know. i don't watch tv. never have..never will. lol! of course i am kidding. about to go in there right now and watch something i recorded on DVR earlier. i really wouldn't know what you're talking about though since we have not gone "hi-def" yet. :)

Well, it doesn't necessarily have to be a hi def set. Even these flat screen tvs have a much sharper picture than the picture tube tv of yesteryear. Something needs to be done about all this make up!! Think I should send MSNBC an email? :D

Beginning Feb 2009, all TV will be digital, no more analog. So the picture will be a lot sharper.

Unfortunately, all the flaws and blemishes will show up even more then.
