How does one know when they've been called to preach?

I can't speak for anyone else but my father has always said that he never got a "call", he simply had a burden for the church and God kept opening the doors, and he kept walking through them. I think it starts with a burden, is my short answer.

I think it has to do with cloven tongues like as of fire......either that or just have a dad thats a preacher

So does someone feeling that they are "called" mean that they are now the "anointed" that God says we can longer "touch"?

If that is the case..... then I AM CALLED!

Man, I guess my dad missed out on both counts! He must not have the "calling."
