Exceeding the "fun limit"......again!!!

Here in Sandusky, Ohio, we are in the middle of Ohio Bike Week, in which thousands of Harleys invade our city for a huge gathering. Keeping with that theme and also with Father's Day being this coming Sunday, I will be arriving at the church on a Harley Sportster. (my son's) I will be in full motorcycle gear and will ride the Harley into the church and onto the platform to the tune of.....you guessed it, "Born To Be Wild!" I will be preaching a Father's Day message entitle, "Born To Be Wild," to the men about how we can be a man's man and still please God and be a true Christian. We can be a man's man without drinking, carousing, partying etc. I will be using some material from "Wild at Heart" and some of my own personal "adventure" stories as well.

We will definitely exceed the fun limit. This is simply one way to have a great time in church, open the hearts of men and then sow the seed of the Word of God and ask for a deeper commitment. I will post pics of the service and the intro video we will be making as well. I hope somebody gets inspired to do something "crazy" for Jesus and reach some sinners, whether they attend church or not!!!

You ARE less scary than him. One of my son's has a bumper sticker on his old truck that says, Real Men Love Jesus. Truth!

MOW, do you wear a helmet?

If not, I'll tell you like I tell my kids (who dont' listen to me either!) "If you wear no helmet, you ride no bike!"
