Today and tomorrow with no rain, then back to our daily dose. Hardly any crops out here. Farmers are hurting. I expect corn to soar even higher than it's been.

I am close to the Mississippi River, which is flooding next week for the second time this year.

But the river did give me an 18 pound 34" flathead catfish yesterday ;-) after a "brief" 15 to 20 minute tussle on 8 pound test line on a medium action spinning rod.

Thank You Jesus....that was fun !!!!

Texas is considered in drought conditions, most of the corn we grow in our garden burns up in July.
