Wife Nearly Caused A Fire!
 

We were having dinner tonight & my wife cooked up Salisbury Steak, Scalloped Potato's, Corn, & she wanted to heat up for herself some leftovers.

Her leftovers were Rice, Tofu, & Spinach & when we were sitting down to eat dinner she said, "honey, the Spinach caught fire in the microwave!"

In my very serious and sensitive tone I burst out laughing!
My kids saw this and they were killing themselves laughing!

My wife looked at me and said, "no it's the truth! See!" She held a small piece of Spinach that had a blackened end & said, "smell it, it's burnt!!"

I am almost on the floor laughing by this time & my kids are joining me while my wife is looking at me in an embarrassed way & telling me it is true!

All I could see was the headline in the newspaper tomorrow saying "local family narrowly escapes disaster when Spinach catches fire in Microwave!

It took me a while to stop laughing & I am still chuckling.
Meanwhile the kids are saying what an embarrassment they would endure at school from there friends!:toofunny:toofunny:toofunny:toofunny




I think my wife will begin talking to me in a few days!:reaction

Thing is, she is a great cook & an even better wife!
I was just laughing at the absurdity of a piece of Spinach catching fire in the Microwave & the fact that I was laughing and my wife so my laughter as a sign that I didn't believe her.

A true comedy of errors!:D
