Love & Truth Ministries goes international
Sunday, June 15, 2008

Why did Grey's Creek Church, 1801 N. Houston Levee, drop its name to become a part of the Love & Truth Church?

For several years pastor Jimmy Greer at Grey's Creek had been concerned about retiring. Who would take over the leadership at the independent church he had led for so many years?

Meanwhile, Eddie Cupples had felt for two or three years that God wanted him to begin a work in Memphis. Cupples was the founding pastor of Love & Truth Ministries. A mutual friend put the two men in contact and Grey's Creek was purchased by Love & Truth in October.

I didn't know you lived in the Memphis area. If I am ever there during a weekend, I will try to visit your church.

Bro. Jimmy and Sis. Carlene Greer are special people. I have many fond memories of them! Would love to see them.

I was in Memphis a couple of weeks ago and wanted to attend services but when I checked online service times were at 5pm.

Yep, we're the weirdos when it comes to service times. That's because at "normal" service times, Eddie and I are having church in Jackson.

Someone told me at church Sunday that the picture of me in the paper didn't look like me. I could not figure out where that newspaper gal got a picture of us, but she took it off the website from when we were in Kenya. That picture was us on our 28th anniversary, getting ready to leave the nice hotel in Nairobi to go stay at the "bad one". LOL!
