"Who are these People?"
 

The other night my husband and I were at the dinner table with my eleven-year old daughter. The conversation had come around to a particular thread and so we were discussing it. During the conversation, my husband I were talking about different points that were being made;
"Well did you see what Dizzy wrote about ....,"
"and then Pastor Poster said"....
"Well yeah but Rico said",
"but what do you think Ferd meant by...",
"and RandyWayne was hilarious when he wrote..."
"Yeah but on that other thread, 1399 made the point that..."
"Well Rhoni and Renda both shot them down..."
"And Sister Alvear was asking about...."
"Rico and Dan were going at it again..."
"ReformedDave has been there, though, and he said..."
"Abundant Grace changed his profile picture..."
"Amazing Grace made me laugh when..."
"DividedThigh and Sam were discussing..."

Finally, after a few minutes my daughter (looking completely confused and flustered) Blurted out,
"WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?".... :ursofunny

I just about fell on the floor laughing!

That is funny and has happened to me also!!!

Sherri's husband calls us her imaginary friends - - funny thing is he's met a lot of them now and can no longer say that!

You can get her back... just wait till she starts talking about Myspace.

"I can't believe that she removed you from her friends list and didn't say anything", etc. I have overheard a few conversations like that.

we have an almost 15 year old who does that already, but we have to personally KNOW all of his friends, so she is up that kind of thing...
But Mom and Dad having "imaginary friends" as Renda called em... apparently that was too much for her!

I work from home, my only real friends are my neighbors. lol.

This actually happened to me and I'm 31 years old!!! It was hilarious...when I realized what had happened, I felt like I was back in high school! Talk about laughing my head off! What's funny it's all because I didn't respond to a message (I think, not sure)...I didn't even get the message until AFTER they'd already deleted me...it was hilarious!

Sorry for the comment that has nothing to do with this thread...

What's really hilarious is when you tell someone about your friend and then have to confess that you've NEVER met them!!!!
