Touching a Taboo Subject...Tattoos.

It has not been discussed much here from what I have seen. What does each of you think about tattoos? Sinful or not? Would you get one? If so what would you get? Do you have one? If so what is it? All those types of things.

I am not against them though I think that alot of people go too far with them. I would love to get a large cross on my back or arm. I will get something to signify my daughter and maybe get my lastname on me at some point. I think it would be cool to have sleeve tattoos, think Todd Bentley. But that ain't me. Not sure I could pull it off. The Bible says we are the temple of the HG. Even temples need to have paint on them, right? Hey depending on what version of the Bible one uses it say that are names are written in his hands and from what those has researched it have said the actual word used there is the word used to mean tattoo. That are names are tattooed in His hands. Kinda cool.

So what do you all think?

I hate tattoos. I regret getting the one that I do have. I'll probably have it removed. I don't think a christian should mark themselves with tattoos post conversion. If I were an employer, I would not hire a person with excessive ink or piercings. :)

It's cheaper to get one out of a candy machine. I usually stick one on my.... ankle.

If you are not kidding then you could get into trouble there. Unless the company has a code of conduct that speaks to that then you are covered if not you can get sued over it. That is a bad reputation that you would be tattooed with.
