BIDEN SLIPS, SUGGESTS FDR WAS PRESIDENT WHEN MARKET CRASHED:
http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/09...arket-crashed/ An excerpt rom the above link: WASHINGTON — Vice presidential candidate Joe Biden says today’s leaders should take a lesson from the history books and follow fellow Democrat Franklin D. Roosevelt’s response to a financial crisis. “When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn’t just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, ‘Look, here’s what happened,”‘ Barack Obama’s running mate recently told the “CBS Evening News.” Except, Republican Herbert Hoover was in office when the stock market crashed in October 1929. There also was no television at the time; TV wasn’t introduced to the public until a decade later, at the 1939 World’s Fair. OBAMA CHIDES BIDEN FOR OFF-MESSAGE INTERVIEW: http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/09...age-interview/ An excerpt from above article: Barack Obama and Joe Biden stepped out of sync again Tuesday, as the Democratic presidential nominee criticized his running mate for voicing opposition to the government bailout of American International Group early last week. It was the second off-message moment for the Democratic team in two days. Biden had to ratchet back his own rhetoric Monday after an interview aired in which he called one of his own campaign ads “terrible.” SOME MEMORABLE GAFFES OF DEMOCRATIVE VP NOMINEE JOE BIDEN: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,426781,00.html .....The word going around the Internet is that Biden will bail out citing medical reasons and even gives the date of October 5...NOT SAYING I believe this just reporting what is on TalkRadio ProgramS. OBAMA IN NEED OF A BAILOUT AS JOE BIDEN GAFFES KEEP PILING UP: http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/dai...109.guest.html THINK ABOUT HOW THE PRESS WOULD BE ALL OVER THIS IF SARAH PALIN HAD DONE THIS. |
Re: Biden gaffes
OBAMA CAMP LIES TO COVER BIDEN'S LATEST GAFFE (according to this article)
http://www.examiner.com/x-268-Right-...s-latest-gaffe From the above article: The Obama-Biden campaign lies to try and cover up Joe Biden's latest Gaffe. Last week, Biden said he supports clean coal for China, but not for the U.S. "We’re not supporting clean coal," Biden said.... "China is gonna burn three hundred years of bad coal unless we figure out how to clean their coal up. Because it's going to ruin your lungs and there's nothing we can do about it. No coal plants here in America. Build them, if they're going to build them over there make 'em clean because they're killing you." Be sure to watch the video of Biden on the above link....So humorous. He really did say this. :ursofunny |
Re: Biden gaffes
Good grief...Not one reply except from JE?...Did anyone hear these in these statement in the news??? The media would be mocking Sarah Palin if she had said these things and we hardly hear anything about this from the media since they are Biden gaffes.
I was amazed that Joe Biden thought FDR was the president in 1929 and that Americans were watching TV during the Great Depression. He may know about foreign policy but he needs to review his American History. |

Anyway, FDR and his policies didn't end the Depression. The war did. (Kudos to Ferd for prompting me to do some research.) :) |
