Any thoughts on this? ..It is H.R. 2343.

This was on the list for vote this week. It is supposed to be voluntary but sometimes programs that are voluntary turn into mandatory later. Is it too intrusive? With all of the concerns about the bailout, this could slip through unnoticed. Hillary Clinton was one of the sponsors, along with Bond from MO.

The cost is projected to be a mere 500 million over 3 years:

You can go to the Library of Congress site and read the entire bill. Go to "Search Bill Text"...Type in H.R. 2343 and be sure you have "Bill Number" as your choice.

I saw this recently, and I do not like it at all. The government meddles further and further into the home, where they have no business at all.
