Where's Michelle Obama?

She hasn't been seen for weeks. Why isn't she stumping with BO? Are they trying to hide her so folks won't remember the things she has said that could hurt the BO campaign?

DB, I really don't recall seeing any of the spouses on prominent display recently. That would be like me saying that they are hiding Cindy McCain so that she will not have to answer tough questions. This is just a time when the principles are stumping.

Aaah-hah!
The plot sickens... I mean thickens.

Michelle Obama was on CBS this Morning today. She was interviewed by Maggie Rodriguez about everyday, household things. For whatever reason, she doesn't come across as likeable to me. I can't really put my finger on it precisely, but she doesn't come across as warm and friendly, IMO.

She wouldn't help BO's chances at all given her past comments and her personality.

I agree.

I watched that dinner last night and Cindy was with Mac as they were leaving the stage, I didn't see Michelle with BO and I thought about it that I had not seen her much. Contrary to a post above I have seen Cindy standing in the background at many rallies with Mac.

Didn't know MO was on CBS. Just doesn't seem she is as prominent figure in the campaign since the convention. Maybe their internal polling shows a lot of negatives, I don't know just guessing.

I'm sorry, Mr Fair and Balanced, lets not kid ourselves here. :snapout

Cindy McCain has not said as many controversial things as Michelle Obama.
And Michelle Obama is much more of a polarizing figure than Cindy McCain.

The two are like night and day.

I'd bet you're right. She has far less face time at rallies than Cindy McCain does.

I'm sure the official line is that she's taking care of the two girls and maybe that's the case, but I doubt that she's seen as an asset on the campaign trail. Everytime I've seen her speak to a large crowd, she hasn't done much to excite them.

That is my guess, too. She doesn't come across friendly, her appearance (ugly clothes and showing her bra strap) has been criticized, then there was the infamous thesis she wrote that was screaming racism. BO is smart to keep her out of the lights. Although I would love to see her in the lights and mess his campaign up.

Cindy McCain is a class act. There is no comparision between her and MO.
