He had no credibility to begin with, being a false teacher who doesn't preach the truth.

It is just a sad story that has played itself out over and over and over. He doesn't get a pass for his sin, but it is a scenario that I have seen happen repeatedly when a child is abused by an adult. There is almost an inevitability that the person will serious problems later on.

I truly feel sorry for the man and I pray that he can become one of the very few ministers who have fallen who complete their "restoration" program and are truly free from their "demons" to live a life of victory. Only time will tell if that will happen. I have sincerely prayed for his deliverance and his family. I trust that those who are quick to judge have done so as well.

Does he have any credibility? Of course he does. He has credibility with those who have struggled with the same sin. However, only he becomes free will it really mean anything. He doesn't have any credibility with me, until he does what he is told to do and gets some time between his fall and his restoration.

If the fame of his repentance meets or exceeds the fame of his fall, he has a chance. Outside of that, I don't think he has much of a chance at all. As bad as this whole thing was, and it was REALLY bad, at least he didn't molest children as most of them do. (at least we don't know of any) :D

What amazes me about the guy is how he looked into the camera smiled and denied everything in the beginning. I saw a video. Very charismatic man. I can't believe anything he says.

Well, all those UPC preachers who committed adultery or suicide or whatever were supposed to have been preaching the truth. Something wasn't right there either.

With his loss of income from being the pastor of a 10,000 member church, I'm sure he feels like he's being financially abused now too.
