When I Grow Up
 

Sally Harrington handed in the drawing below for a 1st grade homework assignment.


After it was graded and Sally brought it home, she returned to school the next day with the following note:

Dear Ms. Davis,
I want to be very clear on my child's illustration. It is NOT of me on a dance pole on a stage in a strip joint. I work at Home Depot and had commented to Sally how much money we made in the recent snowstorm. This drawing is of me.... selling a shovel.

So let me ask you this, when you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I always told everyone that I was going to be a missionary to Sierra Leone, West Africa. From the time I was 5 years old until way into my teens that was my dream. Now? Uhhh noooooooo
