Would You Ask ?
 

I went with my wife to my local Advanced Auto Parts to buy some spark plugs ,as we were paying for the spark plugs ,I ask the guy if they had any caps to give away.
I think I embarrassed my wife ,of course my father in law is a regular there.
Would you go to a parts house or bank and ask them if they have any caps to give away if you do business there ?
BTW they did give me a free cap.
I have a friend whom I pick music with ,and when he goes to car lot to buy a truck or car ,he tells the salesman if they want his business they need throw in some caps or something.
He went to music store to buy a amplifier ,and he asked the salesman to throw in a guitar strap and some strings, the guy said we can't do that , my friend well across town they'll cut me a deal on this amplifier ,anyways my friend bought the amp and came away with a strap, some strings and a free used mic stand.

Ask and ye shall receive.

Ye have not because ye ask not.

It never hurts to ask.

My husband is always coming home with stuff like that. You'd be surprised how many free caps, calendars, assorted logo keychains, mini keychain flashlights, ink pens, etc.. that he has collected over the years...

I figure he asks for some of it... but I have been into businesses where they have the promotional freebies on the counter or another kind of display with a small sign telling customers to take one.
