4 Days to Easter and it's SNOWING!!!!!!
 

Went to the church tonight and stuffed 1500-1600 eggs with candy and money. Went to Wal mart got some stuff for work tomorrow and came home and on the way home..(it's been raining here since about 6:00 pm) I thought wow, that looks wierd...then I realized..Oh My Goodness, that's snow!!! I mean it was coming down so hard that it was hard to see to drive.

What is up with this STUPID weather, already!!!! The wind has blown here for the last several WEEKS unusually hard. It's Kansas, so yes the wind blows alomost every day, but these last few weeks, it's been awful. Our neighbor told my husband the other day..."Rev, you've got connections and pull with the man upstairs, why don't you go stand in your yard with arms raised and try to talk some sense into HIM. Tell HIM that the wind is just too much and HE needs to make it stop." IT was funny.

Anways, it needs to stop blowing and raining so we can have our EASTER EGG HUNT!!!!!!!

We got snowed in this week in E. Tennessee! We couldn't believe it. It was snowing and sleeting so hard it was crazy. I kept thinking, "IT'S APRIL! WHAT'S UP WITH THIS????" :nah

We have an Easter Egg Hunt tomorrow morning, but at least here it's supposed to be in the 60's, even though the ground will be wet and nasty from all the rain. I'm glad I don't have any little ones that I have to launder!

You know there is a whole maturity aspect involved here. Things are different in our home. No offerings to the fertility gods for our girls - just some good solid teaching on the passover.

Then again - about the cursing of the weather - we teach them that it rains (and snows) on the just and the unjust - but blessed be the name of the LORD!

Supposed to be 80% chance of rain Sunday where I am at I guess we can blame it on globel warming...LOL

It is steaming hot here in the NE of Brazil...rained about 5 minutes early this morning and the sun came out brighter and hotter...Think this hot weather is not good on my blood pressure...it was very high yesterday...
