"Fifty Years Ago, Tomorrow, July11, 1959..!

Oh, the memories that flood my mind today as we await the Special
50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration our six adult children and their
families are preparing. (GOD bless our precious family). We have been
kept in the dark for the most part, except for the little tidbits our child-
ren have dropped along the way. Just enough to make us curious and
tremendeously excited!!:woohoo

Yes, 50 yrs. ago tomorrow, my darling and I stood in my late cousin's
lovely back yard, surrounded by all the beautiful flowers that were
blooming there. It was the day of our wedding, but actually the cere-
mony was at eventide. I was so excited that when the preacher told
my husband to be, to place the ring on my finger, I was so nervous I
forgot which hand I was to present!!! That has been a family joke
through the years. But we got through it and by 8:00 p.m. we were on
our way out of town... The rest is history.

I thank GOD from the bottom of my heart for HIS Marvelous Grace and
Mercy and Love through these 50 yrs. HIS LOVE shed abroad in our hearts
by the HOLY GHOST is what has made the difference. We had both received
the Holy Ghost the year before in different locations. THEN HE brought us
together and started us on a JOURNEY!! Wouldn't take nothing for my
journey now!!!
