Transitions-Never Easy, But Sometimes Necessary

I have noticed as of late that more and more posters lately have been talking about the reason that they have not been on as much, or even if they have been on they have not posted as much is because they are in transition.

Noun
1. the act of passing from one state or place to the next [syn: passage]
2. an event that results in a transformation [syn: conversion]
3. a change from one place or state or subject or stage to another

Transition is never comfortable, and usually is never easy.
As human beings we thrive on routine. We feel secure in the norm.
Sometimes God allows for us to go through transitions to take us from where we where to where he desires us to be.

I mentioned on another thread that I have been offered a new job at a new company with new responsiblities, & challenges.
Last October we as a Church started to go to a Seniors Center every Sunday morning.
Since then my Pastor has refered to me as "Senior Pastor." I chuckle at that.

I know that God has been speaking to me about a few weaknesses of my own as well.

What transitions are you undergoing right now?:tiphat

One of the Minsters spoke of in generalities that the Church is in transition.
I believe he meant more than our Church.:tiphat

Bro. Ron, I have had a year of transitions and God is still working out the details: job, family, friends, church, move...well pray for me as I will pray for you. Transition is difficult but in order for growth to occur...a must! But God is faithful.

Blessings, Rhoni

I've had 33 years of transition. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Hehe.

It's been interesting for sure .... and rewarding overall.

Transition? BIG TIME! Mostly over the past eight months.

You Bro Ron you are right.

I just find myself less wanting to sound right.

All I want to do is read something, hear something to lift me up.

I need a fresh move of the HQ to lift my heart....

I'll pray for you as a prayer partner in your move to a new job.

Please do the same as I am reviewing where I might move for work as well.

God Bless you Brother....
