Intercession, better than booze

You want to forget your problems? Take on someone elses problems in prayer. It works, really!

And if you don't have anything to pray for-- check out the Prayer Closet forum.

Intercession - better than booze? That's one of the strangest ways to describe intercessory prayer that I've ever heard. :wacko

I've never drunk "booze" so I don't have a clue how there could be any comparison.

Intercessory prayer doesn't usually give me any kind of high. Instead it usually takes a LOT out of me. Intercessory prayer is hard work. It wears you out.

Let me illuminate your untouched mind then sister. People drink often to forget their problems. They get drunk and forget...of course they reap the bad side effects of the booze.

Intercession is far better because it has the same effect often of helping you to forget your problems by praying for someone elses...get it? :-)
