Speaking with a coalition of religious leaders, someone spoke of health care reform as "a core ethical and moral obligation" and criticized the amount of false information being spread about the effort. I recall the woman with the issue of blood had spent money on care and got healed but not reimbursed.

We as a society have a moral obligation for those who are sick and injured in our communities. This is an "obligation" to be a good "neighbor" like the Good Samaritan.

The man who fell among thieves was cared for, patched up and since the thieves made certain he lacked the means, the "neighborhood" took care of the expense.

A moral obligation to help and to render aid is far different than any kind of coerced obligation to fund a massive wasteful bureaucracy whose real purpose is the redistribution of wealth to special interests, the President's cronies and other fat cats who are doing just fine, thank you very much, without also being given my meager "wealth." http://www.apostolicfriendsforum.com...cons/icon8.gif
