First Emblem in America???
 

My sister called me this morning and said at her church last night the pastor said the first emblem planted in America was a cross made from the ship that brought them over.

She said there is a scripture posted on the cross; which is Acts 2:38.

Said this was done in 1607 and that every 100 years they have a celebration on it, but this year on April 29th there is no plans to celebrate.

Said John Smith is the one that established this cross.

I can't seem to find any information on that.

I did find where in Jamestown, Va there are planning some kind of celebration this year.

Anyone know the facts behind this information?
