Interesting 2012 Scenario

The link below is to a HuffPost article which has an interesting take on the 2012 election. I've read a few articles lately that have had this type of scenario ...

Hilary Clinton resigning from BHO's admin and running against him in the Dem Primary. If things don't change quickly for BHO, she would be extremely difficult for him to beat. One thing this article points out is she's been part of BHO's admin since she last ran for office, so it would be hard to criticize her on anything new. On the other hand, HC would have a lot of insider information to use against BHO.

Clintons were furious when BHO won the nomination ... I'm sure (as the end of this article alludes) they would relish an opportunity to deal a payback blow to BHO and the others who helped him get elected.

I agree with the article that, unless things drastically improve, this could be the only way the Dems hold the WH in 2012.

That is an interesting take. After her stunt in the Congo, she might want to take a long rest before she tries to run again. LOL

I doubt that would have any affect on her campaign. Especially when many, including the President and even conservatives, have exhibited similar behavior at times. Everyone gets testy. I don't blame her for getting irritated with the question. It was a stupid question. I doubt this would be a campaign issue or a problem with voters.

I'd support her over BHO any day. That's not saying I would vote for her, I wouldn't. But I'd rather have her in the WH.

She's a big turnoff for me. I would rather we ended the Clinton era.

Well, I expected Hillary to become President of the U.S. in 2008 and I was wrong. I also thought Bill Clinton might become Secretary General of the UN but someone else got that job. In my mind I just pictured a real world impact if Hillary was in charge of the US and Bill was in charge of the UN. It might still happen. The Europeans love Bill Clinton. For you dispensationalists, any chance Bill Clinton might be "the Antichrist"?

Sam, FYI, an American or a European cannot be secretary General of the UN. I don't believe any of the security council members can be secretary general. Only someone whose country is part of the general assembly. That is to say only someone from smaller countries like south korea of a nation of africa.

I didn't know that.

We just get to carry it financially but not serve as a leader?

That's about the dumbest thing I've heard. Guess I can understand the reason - don't want a superpower in charge of the UN ... but still.
