Palin intellectually doesn't understand.
"You know, Sarah Palin just can't seem to get it, on any front. I think she's an attractive person, she is articulate," Clyburn said on the Bill Press radio show. "But I think intellectually, she seems not to be able to understand what's going on here."
http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefi...-going-on-here Can you imagine the reaction if the comments were reversed and Palin said this about Clyburn? |
Re: Palin intellectually doesn't understand.
Depends if there was at least some evidence to support Palin's would be claim about the guy.
Palin may be very intelligent, but she does not portray it at times, many times, and unfortunately, publicly. |
Re: Palin intellectually doesn't understand.
Yes if this were aimed at a liberal the leftist would demand we stop and that both sides do it....but when it's aimed at the right they collaborate with the attacks or are silent

Most people don't come to the defense of Sharpton or Jackson when they make their incredibly stupid remarks. Dude, you act like you don't know that Palin has a terrible image problem-- one that she created in concert with some of the people on the McCain team. Still, McCain's team can't be blamed for ALL of Palin's faux pas. Her own words and actions fuel the attacks on her intellectual prowress. Get out of defense mode! |

Dude how did Palin GET her image problem? By incessant finger pointing by the left. As for defense mode ROFL, you are the one in defense mode. I have not defended one person. What I have pointed out was the hypocritical two faced way Leftist (and you fit into that catagory) say "both sides need to stop" but when it comes to someone on the right being bashed they collaborate on that attack or are silent. When it comes to someone on the LEFT being bashed the Leftists try to turn the tables or whine "Let's stop the finger pointing you idiots, both sides do it" And YOU are a prime example of that. If both sides do it and it's wrong for both sides TO do it, then be consistent. Instead you fell into the Liberal MO of finger pointing at conservatives |
Re: Palin intellectually doesn't understand.
JD - please give an example of an intellectually challenged remark by Palin.
I will start off by saying that I do not believe she could top the one by our President when he stated he had been to all 58 states. |

I am also seeing the image of the interview she performed while a turkey was being butchered in the background. Palin is responsible for her poor image. |

(1) Most (if not all of) Sharpton's and Jackson's remarks were made at times when they were NOT in public office. Sharpton never was. Do you want them censored? (2) When public officials make their remarks, do you not want them held accountable? Businesswise, I am reminded of the Imus situation. From what I remember, his last faux pas was not his first. I was glad to see Imus lose sponsorship. When Dr. Laura lost her sponsorships, it wasn't without reason. Some stuff are so over the top that no one wants to be connected to it. Can you blame them? (3) Palin earned her image problem during the Barbara Walter interviews and the other occasions when she opened her mouth when the nation's eyes were on her and she looked stupid. That's her fault. (4) This thread is (partially) about Palin and her image problem. You have defended her in stating that it is not her fault that she has an image problem. (5) You misspelled category. (6) :bigbaby I am hypocritical and I don't criticize the left when they are over the top. Since you know me so well, give me examples of my hypocrisy. Give me an example of defending hate from the left. (7) Some of us stand to be blamed. Hopefully, this national discussion will cause us to correct ourselves. |
Re: Palin intellectually doesn't understand.
JD - here is the Democrats and national media's problem with Sarah Palin.
She is a female Republican. All Republican's are supposed to be angry white males. Anyone outside of this "profile", and a Republican, is obviously stupid or incredibly naive. I have a close friend who is a black Republican. He has almost been disowned by his family because of this. He does not put issues in their face and is very non-confrontive, with them. However, they cannot understand how any black person can be a Republican. |

However, Sarah does at times lack the ability to communicate clearly. I personally like SP, and I believe she is very good for the Republican Party. I believe she would be a much better president than our current president, but I don't believe she can be elected, because the media is without conscience. |
