I Am Not Boycotting AFF

If I am not on here tonight fussing and feuding it is not because I am mad and boycotting AFF.

I woke up this morning to no internet service from Comcast. They are, at least in my town, the sorriest excuse for an internet provider you can imagine.

I am hoping they have service back on when I get home in a few minutes but I will not be surprised if they don't. Then after holding on the phone for an hour they will tell me they can't send anybody out for a few days. Arghhhh.

As soon as my obligation to them is up I am going back to a telephone company DSL connection. The cable modem was supposed to be faster but my teeny tiny country telephone company's DSL connection where I lived before was much faster and much more reliable than Comcast.

If I am not on tonight enjoy your vacation from me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a not Christmas miracle!!! Got home and Comcast has decided to work for a little while.

Why don't you get a real provider. :D

I read where even JUNO is offering high speed.

No Kidding! I spoke too soon when I posted on this thread that it was working because right after that post it stopped!

I had to call customer service and he did some magic at his end and it is working the best it has in a long time right now. No telling how long this will last though.

I am going to probably switch to Bell South DSL when my obligation is up.

Sometimes you can get the BellSouth DSL for $14.95 for a year if they are running the promotional in your area.
