There are a lot of people online who would normally be at church (me included) - who's home because church was cancelled and you're attending the First Church of AFF????? :D :D :D

Not snowed in, most of our snow melted yesterday.

Actually, our roads aren't *awful.* I'd put them at mediocre. We got out yesterday for a little while, and the roads were pretty bad, but by the time we went back home they were slushy and some were clear.

However, the church parking lot is another story altogether. The snow plows scraped the road in front of the church, effectively blocking the driveway and the parking lot is still covered with snow and drifts. Hopefully it will start melting off today. It's already 41 degrees.

We got only about 6-8" last week during "the blizzard". It was bad because we got quite a bit of ice mixed in, but not a whole lot of snow. But yesterday, they predicted 2" and we got about 10" or more. That's on top of the 6-8" we had before, which was already on top of the 4-5" we had had on the ground before. My front yard has about 24" of snow right now.

But no, it didn't cancel church because of it. This is Ohio. If there isn't blowing and drifting, or if there isn't ice, I guess we just go on. Our attendance today was about normal or maybe even a little higher, so I don't think too many were scared away. Altho, I do have to tell you - the main roads here are good. But the side roads have barely been touched. And the alley's - well, forget about 'em!! I get into my garage by way of the alley. THAT's been fun today :) But I love a challenge, so it's ok.
