Guns For Cash In Austin

A private group (Texans for Accountable Government (TAG)) countered the Austin PD's "Guns For Groceries" campaign by setting up outside and offering $110 cash for guns as opposed to the PD's offer of $100 grocery gift card.

Well I for one can see where that is heading. The hidden agenda doesn't seem so hidden to me.

Kind of ridiculous for the police officer to say that we should be worried about someone breaking in, taking our guns and using them to harm another. His manipulative way of supporting that none of us should have guns.

It brings quotes to mind like "Just how dumb do they think we are?"

Oh, I would say pretty dumb based on the guy sitting in the White House right now.

When they disarm the nation then they can take over the nation.

What's so scary is that it looks like they are on the way to taking it over without a shot being fired!!!!

Yep, they started doing that with our educational system - disarm the mind - collective thinking.

I remember babysitting for a friend of mind. An after school deal for a day or two. I looked through his homework/seatwork and it was chock full of group think exercises. Not allowed to think for yourself. It was geared to collective reasoning.

Dumb down the masses. They are easier to govern. I see that happening from both political parties, while both are saying they will give us a better quality of life. Let's see if Paul Ryan means it.

If they do that around here I'm going to set up with a sign and get me some guns for a good price.

Man... $110 a pop... that's a great price.
