1 chicken = a miracle!
 

Today 18 people were at my house for lunch...after funding our regional convention, bringing some in from other areas and all the expenses we were just about out of everything...

My daughter in law whispered to me that there were 18 to feed...I said well let's cook the chicken and cut it in tiny pieces...she looked at me and said, Mom one chicken will not be enough.

I can buy on the credit at the little village store close to my house so I sent my daughter in law's mother there to see if they had anything but they had already sold the ones they had...

We prayed and cooked the chicken and made a pot of rice...I don't know how everyone got a piece of chicken (well, I didn't but it was by choice)...

Everyone ate...no one seemed to notice the lack...

A church member had sent some oranges so we had fresh orange juice. A wonderful meal provided by God...

I was thinking...sometimes we forget to praise Him for the small things because we feel uneasy to talk about our personal needs...

However, I am grateful HE made a tiny chicken that someone had given me...feed 18 hungry people....

God is so good...for 43 years He has always supplied!

God is good. If He can feed 5,000, He can feed 18.

I love it!!! God always supplies when we try our best. Eddie preached today on "What's in Your House?" about the widow woman whose sons were about to be sold into slavery to pay her debts. The provision is in your house!!

It reminds me of once when we were in Kenya, they brought a cake into the church service (we were celebrating something) and they asked me to slice it. I thought it was just for the leadership, but it was for the entire church of about 300!!!! I was a little panicked as everyone started filing to the front for a little piece. But everyone got a bite and there was even some left. I will never figure out how that happened, except God just stretched that cake.

tonight was so awesome...took a goup of people to wish Sister Marlene Happpy Birthday and they sent me home with Supper for everyone...OH Glory....

There is no doubt in my mind God can feed the multitudes.

Last time I checked, I doubt there is the equivalent of one whole chicken in 18 cans of Campbells chicken noodle soup.
