Near Death Experiences

In a related issue to the paranormal, how many view near death experiences as valid?

I don't think the subject is within the scope of biblical topics. Perhaps visions and so forth (John's Revelation) could be classified as an NDE. I've never known anyone who had one though.

Personally, I hope Jesus returns before "the light" at the end of the tunnel is turned off to save on energy costs.

Sure I believe people can come close to death and then revive. I do not believe some of the stories connected with it. Like Jesus showed them people currently burning in Hades ect. People saying they saw the Father and the Son. Things that are not sound doctrine.

In the cases that do agree with your understanding of sound doctrine, are the stories real?

Have you heard of the book, "90 minutes in Heaven"?

That was some experience he had, but I don't know what to make of it.

I wonder if our brains can conjure up experiences such as he described?
He was pronounced dead, covered and awaiting the coroner. A passing pastor felt led to pray and the guy came back.
He describes meeting family that had gone on before him and other things that escape me at the moment.
