Though I don't approve of all the fine points in this, I do favor universal health care, and always have. But for the news folks and all who will listen, 'ObamaCare' is a misnomer. My mother was in the delivery room in 1956 awaiting the birth of my brother, Jim. It was an election year (Ike & whoever)and politics was on everyone's mind...except maybe my mother. Anyway, she recalls the doctor saying to that if she voted for a Democrat she was "voting for socialized medicine." SO...universal health care is not a new idea, and certainly not 'an Obama thing'. And no...I am NOT a supporter of President Obama. |

This country is full of fools! If this was such a great program then why did Congress EXEMPT themselves? That should be outlawed!!! |
Re: Sad Faces at GOP TV
All, not really upheld.
The Medicaid ruling throws a big kink into what was planned. Also calling the mandate a tax instead of a penalty makes this an even bigger campaign issue. I think this may have a detrimental impact on the Dems for the fall elections. Thoughts? |
