The Apostolic New Testament soon to be published!
On January or February of 2013, we will be publishing the Apostolic New Testament.
We begun the Old testament many years ago, but decided that doing the New Testament was more important, so after we publish the New Testament, we will return to complete the Old Testament. which I estimate will be finished by the year 2016 or 2017. To get a sample copy of the Gospel of Matthew visit our web site http://www.one-lord.org It took us a few years to finish the New Testament We have reviewed it many times and we believe it is about ready for publishing. We are just doing some final minor revisions and corrections, before we publish it. |

That SHOULD read "28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, I have given me all power in heaven and in earth" in order to harmonize with oneness theology. I too wonder about the continued use of words like "spake" if they're doing a modern translation. I know "spake" sounds more religious and maybe rolls off the tongue a little better for the preacher, sounds like God speaking to some, but hey folks, it's 2012!! Their Gospel of Matthew is closed with this comment.... "While the phrase (the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit) or similar wording does not exist in any other place of the New Testament or early apostolic documents, for it is without a doubt a later creation." That can quickly be shown to be error.... Tertullian, c. 200 AD (see here writes in On Baptism, Chapter XIII: "For the law of baptizing has been imposed, and the formula prescribed: "Go," He saith, "teach the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." and in Against Praxeas, chapter 2 says, "After His resurrection ..He commands them to baptize into the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost". Hippolytus (170-236 AD says in Fragments: Part II.-Dogmatical and Historical.--Against the Heresy of One Noetus, "gave this charge to the disciples after He rose from the dead: Go ye and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." Cyprian (200-258AD) in The Seventh Council of Carthage Under Cyprian says, And again, after His resurrection, sending His apostles, He gave them charge, saying, "All power is given unto me, in heaven and in earth. Go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." and alludes to the same passage in other places as well. Gregory Thaumaturgus (205-265 AD) in A Sectional Confession of Faith, XIII (see here says, "....the Lord sends forth His disciples to baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit?" |
Re: The Apostolic New Testament soon to be publish
I'll stick with the KJV.
It was good enough for Jesus and the apostles, it's good enough for me.......... |

Scary, isn't it? that we have to come up with a new and improved Bible to pros what we believe? What's wrong with just believing what the Bible already says? |

The Seven steps of Salvation Salvation is not a one time event. Salvation is actually a process of being born again and then growing into maturity in Christ. If a person doesn’t this process, is that person lost? The answer is not at all. When a person is born again, that person is like a babe, and must grow into maturity. There are certain stages or steps that a person must do in order to grow into the full measure of Christ. A person, who is already committed to God, will be saved on the basis of that Faith. God is the Final Judge as to who will be saved. Step One: BELIEVE in the Gospel You must believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins, for without faith it is impossible to please God John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. Step Two: REPENT of your sins You must repent and turn away from your sins, for we can not continue living in sin any longer Luke 13:5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Step Three: BE BAPTIZED in the Name of Jesus Christ You must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, for the washing away of sins by the Blood of Christ Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Step Four: RECEIVE God’s Spirit You must ask and receive the Holy Spirit of God, for the spirit guides us into all truth Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Step Five: STUDY God’s Word You must study the Bible in a disciplined and focused manner and obey diligently God's holy word, to keep from walking in darkness Psalm 119:1-176 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Step Six: OBEY God’s Commandments You must Obey God's Commandments, which include the Ten Commandments I John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. Step Six: SEEK to know God You must seek and get to know God through constant fervent Prayer and deep thoughtful Meditation. John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. |
