Out of This World

It is said by some that Jesus was not of this world. He says that none who belong to Him are of this world. There are some that believe that God is from somewhere else.
John 8:23--And He said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
John 17:14-16--I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15--I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16--They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

I believe that God means that some are under darkness and beyond understanding--not that He is from someplace else. He is all and in all, but I've heard some argue that He is far away in heaven. Heaven is within us-the kingdom of God is within.
I've had some comments that at least I have an interesting take on things that make people study and think. I hope so, I've also had some call me new age--don't have a clue what that is. I've been called Mormon, Jew and even antichrist---I currently attend a Baptist church but maybe I think differently--I'm full of questions and search a lot.
Yeshua Bless You

Yeah, cuz it isn't that their interpretations of the Bible are different from yours; it's that they don't believe the Bible. :lol

Yes, they don't believe a big part of the Bible.
But you would not understand, Timmy. And that's ok.

I understand that when someone's interpretation of the Bible is different from yours, you think they don't believe the Bible. It seems that you would not understand that.

Ask the Baptists if there is part of the Bible that they don't believe. See what they say.
