End Times Strategy..Circle the wagons and wait?

Or act like we have a mandate to establish His kingdom for ever here on earth?

Isa 9:7 Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.

I was reading the above verse just now and was wondering how much we really believe this...now I am not a preterist, but I was just thinking what our attitudes should be if we really believe we are in the end times Or if we believe there will be an "end times".

Does God want us to just roll over and wait it out? Chancellor mentioned before about hindering prophecy...well I am asking how much do we want to SEE this prophecy fulfilled?

Does this prophecy only begin after the Rapture in your mind? Or did this begin from the time He was born until now?

Isa 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isa 9:7 Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.
Just how much responsibility in all this belongs to His church to establish His Kingdom.

I believe this has already been fulfilled.

Notice it says "increase of His government"...it can't be already fulfilled. It's a continuing prophecy. His government will increase.

Pardon me, I believe it is being fulfilled. Whoah... I'm almost a [partial] preterist.

And how should that affect us as the church? As the endtimes are upon us or nearing, should we have a circle the wagon mentality? Do we have a strategy for the end times?

Me, I'd like to see this world keep going for a while longer. But, there is no use if the chuch is not making a dent. There is no real strategy. Just be ready because things are going to get really bad. Pre-tribbers are not concerned, they are [wrongfully] convinced that they are not going to be around when things start to get tough.

Prophecy cannot be hindered or speeded up, all things will happen when they are suppose to happen. That dont mean to sit idley by and watch things happen, though. I think that people that try to hinder a prophetic thing actually help to fulfil it.

That's pathetic, nothing personal. Who is to say the church CAN'T make a dent if it did not have the circle the wagaons, roll over and die attitude?
