Is this the same evidence in which you claimed he told the 911 operator he was going back to his vehicle and to have police meet him there? Because I put a link to the audio in the other thread in the newsroom/political area; along with a timestamp when he tells the operator to just have the cops call him and he'll tell them where he is.

From the report I read and 911 audio, it would be hard to vote not guilty. I'd be more inclined towards negligent homicide or, depending on what else is given at trial, 2nd degree murder.

I agree. Should have never spoken to him and done what the 911 operator said.

You cannot instigate a fight and because you are losing shoot the guy then call it self-defense.

Rather Martin was a gang-banger or not he was just walking and committing no crime at the time. There was no reason for him to comfront Martin.

Martin may have a checkered past, but churches do have ex gang members. Now one is in his grave without a chance to repent. :irate

Self defense.

I have never seen evidence to support his starting an altercation. He may have been returning to his vehicle we, at least I, don't know.

What I do "know" is that he apparently was getting his head beat against the ground which can kill. Based upon the law he was within his rights to defend himself.

911 operator told him to let the cops handle it. Did not take their advice. Martin did not approach Zimmerman, Zimmerman approached Martin. There is your evidence.

No offense but your statement does not make it so.
I know the 911 operator told him to let the police handle it. It is my understanding that he was walking back to his vehicle when the incident happened.

Zimmerman was not walking to his car. He admitted following Martin. Martin noticed he was being followed and turned around to confront the one who was stalking.
