Did God became Human Or Did He Just Indwell a Human Body ?
At the beginning God expressed himself. That personal expression that word, was with God,and was God,and he existed with God from the beginning.
All creation took place through him, and none took place without him. In him appeared life and this life was the light of mankind. The light still shines in the darkness and the darkness has never put it out. John 1: 1,2,3,4,5 J.B. Phillips The New Testament in Modern English. In Jesus Christ ,did God become a Man without dimishing His divinity or Did God just indwell a human body ? |
It was the perfect fusion of deity and humanity, the hypostasis. :)

He became Human....if he just indwelled a human body how can he be called "the man Christ Jesus"? Being a man is more than being skin and blood.
And if that was not just an empty shell of skin but a person with all the nature of humanity and yet God was NOT that person, then that is Unitarianism and not Oneness. Incarnation does not mean "went inside a body". |
But someone said one time if God became a human He transmuted Himself.
Of course we know Jesus Christ in His incarnate state was Humanity as well as Divinity. We also know that Jesus's flesh in his earthly ministry was not divine. |

John 1:14
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. |

Two things...Jesus often quoted the OT to the Pharisees to make a point. Here he could have been making a point that, like David who was rejected by HIS own people and left for dead, he could empathize with David. David was the King. Jesus was the Son of David and the King of Israel. David was a Son of God. Jesus is THE Son of God. David was "Messiah" (anointed). Jesus was THE Messiah. The other thing, in companion with that is that like David, Jesus felt God forsaken. |
