* The day of the Lord
* The resurrection of the dead
* The rapture of the living
* The (final) judgment
* The end of history
Mark of the beast is satan's answer to the law of God. As the law was commanded to be held in the heart, soul and might, and indicated as so by referencing it as symbolicially on the hand (might) or forehead (soul), the devil had his counter version. It is not a computer chip.
