Good commentaries?

Hey, can anybody recommend some good commentaries of the scriptures? Specifically something to help in studying the prophets.
I've been meaning to pick up a chronological bible to help with understanding the context of the time as well, but I'm not sure what my options are on that.

Well, I don't know how to put it without sounding discouraging but most of the commentaries are written by Trinitarians, which right of the bat is a strike against them.

If a person starts on the wrong foundation the whole building will be crooked, the fact that they start with a Trinitarian beliefs makes most of their commentaries go crooked.

I know that some people say to eat the meat and throw the bones, but I would not like to take the risk and mistake a bone for a nice piece of steak.

The New International Commentary on the New Testament, and the one on the Old Testament are the first one's I would grab when in college.

The International Standard Bible Enclycopedia is online and free. It is not a commentary, but looking up subjects like "Isaiah" is a great jumping off place.

Lasor and Hubbard penned a great survey of the Old testament.

Introduction to OT Prophetic Books by Bullock is a good book.

Bookfinder.com is the best place to find old titles in print.

Barnes Notes is pretty good, as is Adam Clarke's. Both are online and free.

Alfred Edersheim wrote an Old Testament History which is pretty good. A good chronology is Ussher's Annals of the World. I think they are both online for free.
