How many hours a week?
 

I didn't see a forum here for marriages. So forgive me if this isnt the right place.
I was curious, as to what you all think is a good number of hours each week to spend quality time with your spouse?

We both work. After work we are home and hang out together. I do spend time hunting, but usually when Mary is at work.

We don't have special quality time.

My wife and I are around each other most of the day.

I am self employed and have that luxury.

We take a lot of rides and enjoy the rural scenery, drinking coffee and chatting.

Its a good set up.

Wife and I like to spend time together but prefer not to work together all day. It's all about personality.

Yea that makes sense. Each couple has different needs and different personalities. :)

Reason I was asking was because i read in a marriage book that anything less that 15 hours a week was damaging. And something just didnt seem right about it.

One thing that helps us get along is completely letting go of our pride.(just celebrated 32 years of happy marriage)

We have learned to tease each other without getting offended.

We make it a habit, not to sull up, but laugh at being the brunt of the occasional tease.

It is a way to "play together" as a middle age couple, without getting offended.

Pride can be a marriage killer.

You don't have people at work you wouldn't necessarily want to live with? This is the reverse of that. I still love her :)
