Apostolic Friends Forum - Healed, and Changed.

I was just home from work, and was warming up a frozen dinner in our
kitchen oven, and I was waiting for my wife, and daughter to come home.
All of a sudden I felt the worst headache, and I felt myself collapse to the
floor, and I knew one thing. I felt that I was going to die soon.

But, soon our oldest daughter arrived home, and found me, and called for me
an ambulance. I was taken to a hospital, and they thought at first I must
have a bad heart, but it was not that. I had a type of brain hemorrhage.
I needed a big operation.

When wife, and daughters visited me at the hospital, they prayed over me
no matter what the hospital doctors thought about that. Wife, and oldest
daughter prayer over me in tongues, and all the prayers seemed to help.
Wife told me that she was told in the spirit that in time I would recover
completely, but that was not what the doctor thought!

I had that big operation that lasted 8 hours, and I was in the hospital for
two months. I only recovered very slowly, but in time I got to come
home, and eventually got to return to work. I was not completely
back to normal for five years, but praise the Lord...I did get better!
I think that the long tine for healing was because of my lack of faith, but there
was enough for my eventual healing!

Best of all it has now been 18 years since my collapse, and I am still around.
I thank all of the many who prayed for me, whether in tongues or the "regular" way! Most of all thank you to the wonderful God, and Jesus Christ,
and the Holy Spirit!

I was not perfect, and did not deserve it, but I got my healing, and
if you ever need a healing I hope you get one also! Praise Jesus!
